Return and Refund Policy

1. Overview

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled for products purchased from Walkabout.


2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Item must be unused and in the same condition received
  • Item must include original packaging, tags, and accessories


3. Return Timeframe

Returns may be requested within 14 working days from the date of delivery.


Returns requested outside this timeframe may not be accepted unless required by law.


4. Process for Returning Items

To initiate a return, customers should contact us at:

  • Email: team@walkabout.co.uk
  • Order Number: Required in all correspondence
     

Once the return request is reviewed, instructions on how and where to send the item will be provided. Items should not be sent back without requesting a return first.


5. Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are:

  • Paid by the customer (unless the garment is faulty in which case return shipping costs will be covered by us)


6. Exchanges

Exchanges are offered for:

  • Different Size / Different Colour
     

Customers must request an exchange within 14 working days of delivery.

Replacement items will be sent to you within 14 working days of receipt of the returned item, No extra P+P charges will apply for the exchanged item. 

If an exchange item is unavailable, a refund or store credit may be offered instead.


7. Refunds

After receiving and inspecting returned items, we will notify the customer of the approval or rejection of the refund.

Approved refunds may be issued as:

  • Original Payment Method 
  • Other Refund Methods Available
     

Refund processing time:

  • 21 business days

Shipping costs are non-Refundable unless required by law.


8. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, customers must contact us within 3 working days of delivery with:

  • Photos of the issue
  • Order number


If an item becomes defective within 60 days of the original purchase date we may: 

  • Repair the item
  • (If the above is not possible) Provide an exchange or store credit
     

We will arrange a  replacement or refund at no cost to the customer.


9. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom or personalised items
  • Clearance or final sale items 
  • Hygiene-sensitive goods (e.g. socks)


10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
